ARTIST SCHEDULE

September 29 - 30, 2012 - Thousand Springs Art Festival - Thousand Springs State Park (Ritter Island Unit), Hagerman, Idaho -The 17th Annual Thousand Springs Arts and Craft Festival is a wonderful two day event that not only has arts and crafts but music in the form of Jazz, Folk and Bluegrass. This juried art event brings talent from Idaho and Utah. There is arts and crafts using all kinds of mediums. Metal art, antler art, photographs, charcoal sketches, water painting, oil painting, jewelry and authors with their books ready to sign (including mine).

September 7-9, 2012 - Art in the Park, - Boise, Idaho - The 58th Annual Art in the Park 2012 presented by the Boise Art Museum, showcasing the work of Idaho, Pacific Northwest, and artists from around the world. The three day Art in the Park event, starting September 7th, also includes an array of Idaho food venders and performing arts in Julia Davis Park, Boise, Idaho. I have been selected for this art event! Hope to see everyone there!

August 2012 - Western Idaho Fair - I try to enter at least one piece each year at the fair. It is fun to get involved! I have won numerous awards at the fair, including SEVERAL 1ST PLACE AWARDS, PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS and 2ND PLACE AWARDS. In 2008 I won the PURCHASE AWARD. The fair chose to purchase one of my entries and hang in the Fair Office. A nice plaque will accompany it and I also recieved a plaque.

June 3, 2012- Arts and Roses - Julia Davis Park, Boise - Original framed fine art paintings, sculptures and framed photography by local Idaho artists. No crafts. Food, beverages and musical entertainment. Percentage from art sales will benefit Julia Davis Rose Garden Fund. Free admission.

Centennial Annual Juried Art Show, Nampa Civic Center - October - Juried Show - This is a juried show held each year in October. I regularly attend. It has original works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, pencil, pen/ink, mixed media, plus one-of-a-kind woodcarving, sculpture, and hand thrown pottery, all done within the past two years. I have won MERCHANDISE, PLACE, and MERIT awards at this show.
